Theatre and Debate
Booster Club
The purpose of this organization is to promote
and encourage the Theatre/Debate departments and to cooperate with the directors
and school officials in every way possible for the development of the character
and talents of the pupils.

We are looking forward to supporting the program again this year. We need to
raise approximately $4500 this year to fulfill our commitments. Below is a
highlight of the booster club’s commitment for the coming year:
- Publicity
- Weekly notification of tournament results to district
administration
office to be put on web page and in district news
- Notification of achievements to local newspaper
- Advertisement of musical-flyers posted, newspaper announcements
- Musical
- Provide meals for
cast/crew during rehearsals
- Sell Musical Program Ads
- Prepare Musical Program so the staff does not have to
- Provide assistance in ticket booth
- Coordinate good show gifts and concessions
- Creekview tournament
- Fund and prepare meals for coaches, judges, staff and
student help
- Coordinate concession stand
- One Act, State competition
- Provide meals during rehearsals as needed
- Shop for meals to take on buses
- Secured Basil’s Dry Cleaners for Costume cleaning
- General program
- Provide camp scholarships (2/3 of last year’s scholarship
fund
went to returning students to attend camp)
- Provide senior scholarships (1/3 of last year’s scholarship fund
went to graduating seniors)
- Secure location for banquet
- Teacher requests
Membership is required for scholarships and
parent involvement is considered in determining scholarship amounts.
